Communist dictator’s villa to become public space

The communist regime of Enver Hoxha in Albania was the most isolated and peculiar of all European regimes in the second half of the 20th century. As a result its aesthetics were in ways more unique from other socialist countries. One of the symbols of Hoxha’s regime was his villa in the center of the capital. After years of decay, it has finally be decided that it will be open to the public. blogpost
