I had the opportunity to go see the floating sculpture exhibit, FLOW, this weekend outside the Philadelphia Seaport Museum. The exhibit includes 10 artworks by 14 different artists and is located in the museum’s boat basin until December 7th. I was also able to visit the museum itself which includes entry to the US warship Olympia and the submarine Becuna located along the harbor park (the white ship in the picture). The sculpture exhibit complements the “River Alive!” exhibit located inside the museum and it was really cool to see all of the different materials each sculpture was made from. The featured image of this post is actually a photo of the exhibit that I took myself when I was there. Both the museum and the sculptures are really neat to see so I’d definitely recommend going out to see them while they’re still up!
This is so cool. I will have to make a trip out there before December.
