Rhythm and Flow’s first season ended with a win which was fairly predictable. It is hard to know if the judges made the right decision as rappers can be very different from each other and still be equally as talented. Although there was a clear difference in topic being rapped about, it is very difficult to know which one would sell more or relate more to the public/

Is their relation to the public a good rubric for who should win? Is their sales a good rubric? Is their artistry? How about their musical talent? What about their speed, cadence, or flow? I think it is so important to gauge WHY something is good beyond their relation to the market.
