Willie and Kacey sing “Rainbow Connection”

I love the song “Rainbow Connection,” and it was really cool to hear that Willie Nelson and Kacey Musgraves sang it together at the CMA Awards this past Wednesday. I thought it was a beautiful performance. I had heard and read articles concerned for Nelson’s health as he seemed to be struggling for breath while singing. In 2015, Willie Nelson had a stem cell procedure for his lungs to help with his breathing issues, and this is the first time he’s performed at the CMAs since 2012.
