Wearable Data Portrait Template Files
There are several examples here:
Basic – Just importing one set of data
Int – Importing another set of data to change the color with conditional statements
String – Same as above, but the conditional statement uses text
Map– Re-scaling the range of a set of data to match new parameters

Tutorials
If you do not have experience coding before, you will attend both beginner sessions. If you have experience coding and feel comfortable with programming, you can attend the advanced sessions. Each week presents different material about how to code using Processing and importing and exporting data.

Data Collection
Over the next week you should begin collecting your data set for your Wearable Data Portrait. Please record this data in a Google Drive Spreadsheet. If you have questions about your specific choice of data let me know.

This can be anything from the personal, to local, national, global, or universal:
How many steps I took today
How many people did I see on their phone
How many people were wearing brown shoes
How much water did I drink today
Postage stamp cost increases
Drought rates of crops in California
Solar wind speed
Do not do: How many hours I slept
