I have always been interested in the intersection of art and architecture. I recently came across the artist Alex Chinneck, who works on pieces like the one shown above (A Sprinkle of Night and a Spoonful of Light), which combine a surrealist artistic effect with architecture.

Chinneck has created many other interesting works of art that give an interesting perspective of what deformities are possible in architecture. I highly recommend checking out his work at his website (https://www.alexchinneck.com/projects) or his Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/alexchinneck/?hl=en).
Check out this project. The owners of this store loved experimental architecture and let this one architect just dream. The chain is now out of business, but it was kind of a big deal in the 70’s.
